Condom use contraception lesson - New 2024 PSHE lesson all about why condoms are such great contraceptives for both preventing pregnancies and STIs, as well as how to correctly put on a condom and use it successfully. Includes detailed lesson plan,
Students will explore the history of the humble condom, why they are so popular, how they have helped people globally, where they can pick them up for free and what to watch out for, such as tears and expiry dates. There are tasks for students to correctly order the steps of putting on a condom, literacy tasks, clip tasks, analysis and creative tasks - but also this lesson can be used as a frame for teachers to use models and real condoms (if they choose) to show their students. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4.

People who care for me KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about the different people in their lives who care for them. In addition to the care given by parents and guardians, we will also discuss the role of friends, teacher, siblings, extended family, and healthcare workers.
The students will reflect on Love Grows Everywhere by Barry Timms, before completing a set of discussion-based activities. The lesson includes a case study starter, a ‘guided reading’ challenge linked to the text, a set of ‘find someone who’ case studies, and a VIP-themed plenary task.

**Safety and risk KS1 PSHE lesson. **
